Graphite Inc. (TSX.V: LLG) ("Mason Graphite" or the "Company")
announces that it has strengthened its management team and board of
directors effective immediately with the appointment of:
- Tayfun Eldem as a new Director of the Board
- Luc Veilleux as the Chief
Financial Officer
- Simon Marcotte as the
Vice-President of Corporate Development
- Valery Zamuner as the Chief
Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary
Benoît Gascon, CEO of Mason Graphite commented,

Company which will greatly benefit us as we move forward with the
development of the Lac Guéret project."
Mr. Tayfun Eldem
currently serves as the President and CEO of Alderon Iron Ore Corp.
He has worked for the Iron Ore Company of Canada ("IOC"), a Rio Tinto subsidiary, for
more than 20 years, including three years as a Director on the
joint-venture Board. During this period, Mr. Eldem held many senior
roles including Vice President, Expansion Projects &
Engineering and Vice President, Operations & Engineering. Mr.
Eldem was accountable for the development and delivery of a nearly
$2.0 billion program of green and
brown fields expansion projects. Prior to his Projects role, Mr.
Eldem was responsible for all of IOC's Operations including the
mine, process plants, rail and port facilities. Mr. Eldem led a
team of about 2,000 to deliver two consecutive years of record
annual material movement at the mine and record ore processing
through the concentrator. Mr. Eldem holds a Bachelor of Engineering
degree from Dalhousie University along
with Operations & Strategic Management Certificates from
Richard Ivey School of Business and
London Business School.
Mr. Luc Veilleux CPA, CA has over 20 years of
experience in the mining and manufacturing industries including
eight years at Timcal in the roles of Chief Financial Officer
(based in Switzerland), COO and
Vice-President of Finance (North
America), and Controller for the Lac-des-Iles graphite mine. In these roles Mr.
Veilleux was responsible for implementing a new production
organizational structure at the mine site and improving its
productivity. He also negotiated the renewal of the mine worker's
collective labour agreement and reorganized and improved the North
American "Customer Service & Logistics" function.
Mr. Veilleux will replace the current Chief
Financial Officer, Mr. Greg Duras.
Mason Graphite would like to thank Mr. Duras for his efforts and
continued support for the Company.
Mr. Marcotte has 15 years of capital market
experience and is currently Vice President of Corporate Development
for Belo Sun Mining Corp. and Alderon Iron Ore Corp. Previously, he
was a partner at Cormark Securities, covering institutional equity
sales in the Montreal and
New York markets for a four-year
period. Prior to his role at Cormark, Mr. Marcotte was a Manager of
Institutional Sales for CIBC World Markets. Mr. Marcotte holds a
B.A.A. from Sherbrooke University and
is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Ms. Valery
Zamuner was General Counsel, Vice President Legal Affairs
and Corporate Secretary for Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Ltd
(CLM), and played a central role in managing CLM's off-take and
strategic partnership agreements with Wuhan Iron and Steel, as well
as negotiating and concluding the final sale of CLM to Cliffs
Natural Resources Inc. The C$4.9B
sale to Cliffs represents the largest acquisition ever of a North
American iron ore company. Ms. Zamuner obtained her civil law
degree from Laval University, is a
member of the Quebec Bar and is in the process of completing an MBA
at Concordia University, John Molson School of Business. In addition to
her CLM experience, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise
in corporate and commercial law in the areas of international and
domestic M&A, securities, corporate finance and private
investment funds.

focused on the exploration and development of its 100% owned Lac
Guéret graphite property, which is located in northeastern Québec
near the main service center of Baie-Comeau. The Lac Guéret graphite
