API Apic Petroleum Corporation

APIC PETROLEUM CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:API) (the "Company" or "APIC") announced
today that it has granted incentive stock options to directors, officers,
consultants and employees of the Company for the purchase of an aggregate of
4,600,000 common shares of the Company, at an exercise price of $0.22 per share,
vesting immediately and expiring on the fifth anniversary of the date of grant.
The common shares issuable upon exercise of the options are subject to a
four-month hold period from the original date of grant. The options have been
granted in accordance with the terms of the Company's stock option plan and the
policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
