Los Angeles Times Reorganizes Motion Picture Advertising Mickie
Sullivan Promoted to Lead New Team LOS ANGELES, March 24
/PRNewswire/ -- To sharpen the focus and resources committed to
serving the motion picture industry, the Los Angeles Times is
reorganizing its advertising function to offer motion picture
advertisers greater access to all services related to their
business. Mickie Sullivan, who has formerly served as motion
picture advertising manager, has been promoted to director of
Motion Picture Advertising. She will lead a new multi-department
team that includes sales, marketing, promotion, creative and
customer service support. The team will be charged with developing
high-quality plans for each new movie release. "Our goal is to
offer unmatched service and resources to the motion picture
industry," said Todd Brownrout, senior vice president, advertising
of the Los Angeles Times. "Under Mickie's strong leadership, we
believe that the new multi-department team approach will provide
far more effective and responsive service to the motion picture
industry." Sullivan joined the Los Angeles Times in 1978 in the
finance department and rose through the ranks to become an account
executive in Motion Picture Advertising in 2000. She was promoted
to manager of Motion Picture Advertising in 2002. The Los Angeles
Times, a Tribune Publishing company, is the largest metropolitan
daily newspaper in the country and the winner of 35 Pulitzer
Prizes, including five in 2004 -- the second-largest yearly total
