Telecom Italia SpA (TIT.MI) said Thursday that it has entered an agreement with Mediaset SpA (MS.MI) to broaden the content of its video on-demand service TIMVision.

The Italian telecommunications company said that the deal will allow TIMVision's subscribers to watch all Mediaset free-to-air channels, as well as the online programming of Canale5, Italia1 and Retequattro.

Telecom Italia said that this agreement is part of its 2018-2020 business plan, which the company's board backed after reappointing Amos Genish as chief executive on Monday.

Mediaset networks will be available on TIMVision from Jan. 2019, the Italian operator said.

The company didn't provide financial details on the agreement.
