--Telecom Italia's Chief Executive Amos Genish said he believes that in order to prevent overcrowding in the TV sector, authorities should "carefully examine" the content-sharing agreement between Sky Italia and Mediaset, La Stampa reports.

--Regarding the upcoming renewal of Telecom Italia's board, Mr. Genish told La Stampa that he believes French media conglomerate Vivendi will be able to maintain an influential role on the operator's board.

--Mr. Genish said "the best result would be [for Vivendi] to have 10 board members, and Elliott and the minorities accounting for five," La Stampa reports.
