--Amos Genish, Telecom Italia's chief executive, said in an interview with Les Echos that it is too early to comment on Friday's content deal between Mediaset and Sky, but that it "must ensure that we continue to have access to the [television] programs under good conditions."

--Should the agreement weaken competition in the Italian pay-TV market, Telecom Italia would ask for antitrust remedies, Mr. Genish told Les Echos.
