SRA Appoints David H. Langstaff to Board of Directors FAIRFAX, Va.,
Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. a leading
provider of information technology services and solutions to the
federal government, today announced that David H. Langstaff has
been appointed to the company's Board of Directors. Langstaff
served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the
Board of Directors of Veridian Corporation from 1995 to 2003, when
it was acquired by General Dynamics. From1984 to 1995, he held a
number of senior executive positions at Veridian predecessor
companies. Veridian specialized in critical national security
programs, primarily for the intelligence community, the Department
of Defense, and other government agencies involved in homeland
security. During his tenure as CEO, the company's annual sales
increased from approximately $100 million to $1.2 billion. In June
2002, Langstaff led Veridian's successful initial public offering.
The company's stock increased nearly 120 percent in the 14 months
that Veridian was a publicly-traded company. Langstaff received a
Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Harvard College in 1977,
and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the
Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1981. From
1981 to 1984, he was employed by the Inverness Group in Houston,
Texas, where he focused on corporate finance, venture capital, and
mergers and acquisitions. Langstaff serves on the Board of
Directors of the Information Technology Association of America, a
500-member trade association representing a broad spectrum of the
U.S. information technology industry, and the Armed Forces
Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). In 2000, he was
among the few industry executives invited by President Clinton to
participate in the first White House Summit on Cyber Security. Dr.
