PR Newswire (US)
FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International,
Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic
consulting services and solutions to government organizations and
commercial clients, today announced it has won a re-compete blanket
purchase agreement (BPA) to support the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency's Climate Protection Partnerships Division (EPA
CPPD). The five-year BPA was effective Jan. 1, 2009, with a ceiling
amount of approximately $42 million. EPA CPPD oversees a voluntary
partnership program created to promote energy efficiency in
products, homes and buildings to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
SRA has worked with the EPA since 2001 - supporting CPPD's mission
to reduce greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming - by
merging their program with IT solutions to engage the public. "We
have worked together with EPA on their ENERGY STAR program for
eight years, integrating data from a variety of CPPD systems into a
single, reliable data source," said Peter Trick, SRA vice
president, environmental and organizational services. "This new BPA
will allow us to continue helping EPA transition to new business
intelligence and other IT tools that will further evolve and grow
their solutions, data, network and stakeholders - enabling them to
reach an even broader business and consumer community." SRA
delivers cost-effective, innovative and high-quality business
automation to CPPD and their partners. The tools SRA designed,
along with the CPPD website, provide diverse solutions that address
a very broad national audience, and assist CPPD with the
information management structure they need to track voluntary
partnerships and collects the information that is disseminated to
the public. SRA has teamed with four companies on the BPA: ICF
Incorporated, LLC, who will define, document and translate
programmatic requirements, as well as provide business intelligence
and statistics and data management support; List Innovative
Solutions, Inc. for testing, configuration management and
requirements management support; Lokion Interactive, LLC for
user-centered design, information architecture, multimedia design,
accessibility analysis and other web-related support; and
Vistronix, Inc., for customer and help desk support services. About
