U.S. Department of Defense Awards $15.9M Contract to SRA Company to
Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Support Services to DoD
Defense Research and Engineering FAIRFAX, Va., July 18
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a

solutions to federal government organizations, announced that it
has been awarded a competitive contract to provide systems
engineering and technical assistance services to the Department of
Defense (DoD) Office of the Director of Defense Research and
Engineering (DDR&E). GovWorks awarded the contract under the
Professional Engineering Services (PES) and Management,
Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) Federal
Supply Schedules. It has an estimated value of $15.9 million over
five years if all options are exercised. DDR&E is responsible
for providing oversight of research and engineering to help solve
current and future challenges for DoD. Since 1994, SRA has
supported DDR&E with a broad range of IT and program support.
Under this new contract, SRA services will include program
management; information management including database development
and administration; financial management; and liaison with
governmental and non-governmental agencies. The SRA team includes
AT&T Government Solutions; Axiom Resource Management; CEXEC,
Inc.; Modern Technology Solutions, Inc.; Schafer Corporation;
Strategic Applications, Inc.; and Trenchant Analytics, LLC. "We
