Jacobs Awarded Contract to Support Marine Corps Logistics Command

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it has
been awarded a contract to support worldwide, integrated logistics
operations for Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) and the Marine
Corps operating forces.
This multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
(IDIQ) contract has a maximum order limit of $855 million over a
period of five years.
The scope of work of the Marine Corps Logistics Support Services
(MCLOGSS) contract includes comprehensive support services in the
areas of logistics, supply chain, and distribution management;
maintenance management; and strategic prepositioning
capability.
MCLOGSS is comprised of three domains divided among full and
open and small business awardees. Jacobs has been selected as one
of nineteen companies to provide services in the Unrestricted
Suite, designated for full and open competition. Services being
provided encompass support for program management and operations,
specialized information technology, logistics training, program
support, transportation and supply, maintenance operations, and
logistics technical data. Services are being performed primarily at
Marine Corps Logistic Command’s (LOGCOM’s) Maintenance Center
Albany, Maintenance Center Barstow, and Blount Island Command
within the Continental United States (CONUS), as well as at LOGCOM
forward operating locations Outside the Continental United States
(OCONUS).
