(NYSE: IM) today discussed market opportunities and trends for the New Year and previewed its new 2011 lineup of marketing services, programs and campaigns to an audience of more than 300 vendor partners and associates at the company's annual Marketing Symposium event.

Themed "Spot On," Ingram Micro's 2011 Marketing Symposium offers IT vendors strategic insight into the marketing trends and sales strategies driving preference among IT channel partners in the U.S.  The annual event also offers a first look at next year's high-impact marketing services, programs and campaigns which include a new series of small business- and vertical market-focused campaigns, as well as the distributor's legacy channel communities, technology and solution campaigns.

Attending vendors will also learn how to maximize their distribution relationship and use Ingram Micro's integrated marketing and demand generation campaigns to their business advantage.

He will be followed by Executive Vice President of North America Paul Bay, who will discuss how and why Ingram Micro is establishing a new level of partnership for its vendor partners throughout the U.S.  An executive panel discussion regarding the distributor's new Advanced Computing and Advanced Technology Divisions, as well as its multi-vendor solutions offerings and dedicated business units will follow.

Later that morning, Gartner Vice President of Research Tiffani Bova will take center stage to discuss the state of the market and business opportunities for IT channel vendors and leaders in the U.S.  Closing out the morning, event co-host Anne Wilcox will present the new 2011 lineup of marketing services and programs. Ingram Micro will also announce the winners of the 2010 U.S. Vendor Awards of Excellence.

The event will conclude with eight simultaneous tracks of workshops covering more than 20 different program categories designed to provide a more in-depth view of the distributor's new 2011 IT vendor marketing offerings.
