CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodrich Corporation
(NYSE: GR) has appointed Richard
Ingram as president of its Engine Control and Electrical
Power Systems business unit. Ingram, formerly vice president
of Primary Flight Controls and Machining Strategy for Goodrich's
Actuation Systems business, will report to Curtis Reusser, segment president, Electronic
Systems. Ingram replaces Bob
Yancey who is retiring.
Commenting on the appointment, Reusser said, "Richard has made a
strong contribution to our Actuation Systems business. His 20
years of experience with Goodrich and formerly acquired TRW
Aeronautical Systems includes operations, engineering, and business
development and provides a solid foundation as he transitions into
his new position. In addition, I thank Bob for his 31 years
of dedicated service to Goodrich."
Ingram joined Goodrich via the acquisition of TRW Aeronautical
Systems in 2002. He became vice president of European Civil
Business for Goodrich's Actuation Systems business in 2003, and has
held positions of increasing responsibility. He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Manchester University and an MBA in Marketing from Warwick Business
School, both in the UK.
Ingram's appointment is effective June
13, 2011.
