Gateway Expands Availability of eMachines PCs in Japan Through
Leading Electronics Retailer Nojima POWAY, Calif. and IRVINE,
Calif., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gateway, Inc. announced
today that its eMachines brand of notebook and desktop PCs will be
available through Nojima, a leading electronics retailer with 54
stores, centered in the Kanagawa prefecture, south of Tokyo. (Logo:

will offer four eMachines notebook PCs and five eMachines desktop
computers, starting September 4. "Nojima has an excellent
reputation as a top resource for consumers shopping for computers

to expand the presence of eMachines notebook and desktop PCs in

late 2002 and will now be sold through nearly 200 retail
