Gateway Cuts Prices on Popular E-Series Desktop PCs Businesses Can
Save Hundreds of Dollars on Gateway's Reliable Managed Desktops
POWAY, Calif., March 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In its latest move
to make high-end business technology more accessible and affordable
for growing businesses, Gateway, Inc. today announces significant
price cuts to its lineup of E-Series managed desktop PCs. The price
reductions, now in effect, can save Gateway Professional customers
hundreds of dollars -- up to $320 per PC, depending on system

prices on Gateway's three E-Series platforms all have dropped
substantially. The high-end E-6100 desktop PC's base price has
dropped to $899 -- a savings of $100. Base prices on the midrange
E-4100 desktop and entry-level E-2100 model each have been reduced
by $50 -- to $799 and $649, respectively. In addition, Gateway has
reduced the cost of popular desktop upgrades, such as hard drive,
memory and optical drive options. "By slashing prices up to 10
