of the Year" in the annual Platts Global Energy Awards for its
leadership in the North American competitive electricity
marketplace and for its impressive growth. Platts, a division of

energy industry publications. The Global Energy awards are given
annually in several categories by Platts and its sister publication
BusinessWeek magazine, to honor excellence and performance by

Constellation Energy as the nation's largest energy provider to
commercial and industrial customers. Judges also cited the

administrative officer accepted the award, which was presented
Friday, Dec. 10th, during a ceremony before more than 400 top
energy executives from two dozen countries at the Plaza Hotel in
