Constellation NewEnergy Creates New Sales Group; Unit to Focus on
National Customers BALTIMORE, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Constellation Energy (NYSE:CEG) today announced that its
subsidiary, Constellation NewEnergy, has created a North American
sales organization to support multi-state and national accounts and
coordinate with regional offices. "Constellation NewEnergy
continues to demonstrate the value of the nation's deregulated
electricity marketplace," said Clem Palevich, president of
Constellation NewEnergy. "It has become readily apparent that as
our business continues to grow, so does our need for greater
strategic linkages with large customers in multiple locations. This
new sales group is designed with that goal in mind and is expected
to help maximize our sales opportunities in competitive North
American markets. It will become an essential part of our business
as we expand market share on a national basis." The new sales group
will provide a single point of contact to help large customers deal
with managing multi-site energy requirements across multiple
markets and serve in an energy advisory role to clients.
Constellation Energy also announced the appointments of Brad
Christensen and John Fardella as managers of Constellation
NewEnergy's Chicago and New York sales offices, respectively.
Christensen, who has extensive energy sales, marketing and
management experience, joins Constellation NewEnergy having held

equally strong background in energy sales and portfolio and risk
management, was most recently with Sempra, and held similar
positions while employed by both Chevron and Enron. Both will
report to Andrew Singer, who as vice president of the North
American accounts group will be based in Constellation NewEnergy's
Baltimore headquarters. Constellation NewEnergy has a sales and
