Constellation Energy Names Bruce J. Stewart to Chief Marketing Officer and Managing Director within Retail Energy Business

Constellation Energy (NYSE:CEG) today announced that it has
named Bruce J. Stewart to the position of managing director and
chief marketing officer within the company’s retail energy
business. Most recently, Stewart served as chief executive officer
of the mobile and digital division of kgb, a pioneer and leading
provider of retail information services including directory
assistance, mobile text (kgbkgb), apps and Web services. Stewart
will oversee a broad array of commercial marketing branding and
strategy efforts, product and technology innovation, as well as
channel and business development for Constellation Energy’s retail
energy business lines that include electricity, natural gas, energy
efficiency, load response, solar energy and other renewable
initiatives throughout the United States. He will report to Mark P.
Huston, managing director, who leads the retail energy business of
Constellation Energy.

As an executive with a 20-year career spanning several leading
consumer brands, Stewart has a strong background leading the
development of products and services for new markets, often with
rapidly changing technologies, managing global operations, growing
businesses, as well as developing strategic partnerships. Prior to
kgb, Stewart was vice president and general manager for Yahoo!
Inc.’s Connected Life division which oversaw Yahoo!’s broadband,
mobile & wireless, digital home and PC desktop application
businesses in the Americas. Prior to Yahoo!, Stewart was senior
vice president for America Online and vice president for Netscape.
Stewart was an executive vice president at Exodus Communications
and Globalcenter Inc. (acquired by Exodus), both of which were the
two largest Web hosting companies at the time. Previously, Stewart
was a partner and corporate officer with InterMedia Partners, then
one of the large cable television operators in the U.S.
