Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG) today announced that it will hold a press conference to discuss the $200 million federal stimulus grant awarded to Constellation Energy subsidiary, Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) for development of one of the most advanced Smart Grid initiatives in the nation. BGE’s Smart Grid proposal includes the planned installation of 2 million residential smart meters throughout the BGE service territory that will allow customers to better manage electricity use.
