(NASDAQ:WLDAE) announced today that the company will meet with the
International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) negotiating team
representing World Airways pilots on Jan. 23, 2006, at the offices
of the National Mediation Board (NMB). The company and the IBT have
been in a 30-day cooling-off period since being released from
mediation by the NMB on Dec. 28, 2005. The cooling-off period
expires at midnight Jan. 27, 2006. World Airways has 430 pilots
operating wide-body passenger and cargo aircraft for its U.S.
