The MailGate 4500 offers large appliance performance and reliability in a compact package. The new 4500 Series appliance features a 64-bit 2.0 GHz Opteron CPU and provides fault tolerance via redundant, hot-swappable disk drives and processes up to 375,000 messages per hour. The new appliance provides superior levels of protection from spam, viruses and other inbound content threats, while adding new onboard redundancy with dual drives and a RAID controller. Like all MailGate appliances, the 4500 features a unique front panel LCD and controls, enabling rapid installation, network configuration, real-time status information, and appliance reset with no external cabling or monitors required.
