Symbion, Inc. (NASDAQ/NM:SMBI), an owner and operator of surgery centers, announced today that it would participate in the Banc of America Securities Health Care Conference to be held May 17 - 19, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard E. Francis, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Symbion, Inc., and Kenneth C. Mitchell, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will give a presentation on the Company. The Company also announced that a live broadcast of its conference presentation will be available on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, beginning at 10:40 a.m. Pacific Time.
