SRS Labs Signs Multiyear Contract with Major European FPTV Manufacturer

SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRSL), officially recognized as one of America’s Greatest Brands and the industry leader in surround sound, audio and voice technologies, today announced a multiyear agreement with Arçelik, one of Europe’s largest flat-panel display manufacturers, to license multiple audio technology solutions, including TruSurround HD™, TruVolume®, and SRS’ all new StudioSound HD™ solution, for inclusion throughout their entire FPTV model line-up.

SRS’ patented audio technologies are engineered to compensate for the stylistic and physical compromises made when designing and manufacturing high-tech flat panel TVs. Based on this new multi-year contract, Arçelik will have access to SRS’ advanced surround sound technologies, as well as the industry’s most popular volume leveling technology: SRS TruVolume. In addition, Arçelik customers will experience other audio enhancements including deeper bass, crisper dialogue, improved definition and higher fidelity sound regardless of their choice of content.
