Auto Industry Authority Robert Maling Joins SRS Labs’ Advisory Board

SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ:SRSL), the industry leader in surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, announced today that veteran automobile industry expert, Robert Maling, has been appointed as a member of SRS Labs’ Advisory Board.

Maling joins SRS' Advisory Board after over 20 years with Toyota Motor Sales, USA, serving most recently at Toyota's Lexus Division as the Vice President of Sales and Dealer Development. He was instrumental in growing the Lexus brand to the point that it achieved record sales volume and profitability, as well as became a household brand name alongside long-established benchmark European luxury brands. During his tenure with Toyota, Maling also enjoyed responsibilities ranging from business development to new vehicle planning. Upon retirement from Toyota in 2002, Maling began consulting for automotive companies, including various U.S., Latin American and Chinese entities of Toyota, Volkswagen and Porsche.

Maling graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Beta Epsilon Phi Business Honors Society.
