Surround Sound Authority Roger Dressler Joins SRS Labs’ Advisory Board

SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ:SRSL), the industry leader in surround sound, audio and voice technologies, announced today that tenured surround sound expert and evangelist, Roger Dressler, has been appointed as a member of SRS Labs’ Advisory Board.

Dressler joins SRS’ Advisory Board after serving a quarter-century with Dolby Laboratories. During his tenure at Dolby, Dressler was instrumental in the development of a wide range of audio coding and processing technologies for the home, automobile and PC, including Dolby Pro Logic II and Dolby Digital. Prior to Dolby, Roger was an audio design engineer for Motorola autosound products.

Dressler currently holds six U.S. patents in the audio field and is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.
