will demonstrate the importance of driver safety to our nation's
first responders in a tactical setting at the Fire Department
Instructor's Conference (FDIC), which opens today in Indianapolis.
Spartan Chassis has collaborated with Simulation Technology, LLC
of Elburn, IL, to create a custom
system representative of Spartan's emergency response products that
simulates the driving environment of a first responder. That
technology will be on display April
22-24 in Spartan's exhibit (Booth #2222) at the Indiana Convention Center.

The FDIC driving simulator features an authentic, Spartan
Chassis cockpit with high-resolution graphics on five LCD displays.
The display is designed to create a true 230 degree, continuous
field-of-view that is geometrically correct from the driver's eye
point. The technology also offers true vehicle dynamics to provide
a realistic driver experience.
