The 11th annual technology conference will be held April 29-May 2, at the Marriott Marquis & Marina in San Diego.   • TEC for Directory & Identity 2012 will open Monday, April 30, with Uday Hegde, Microsoft group program manager, exploring how Microsoft looks at identity and access management in the hybrid world.
  • TEC for Exchange 2012 will feature a Monday keynote by well-known Exchange expert Tony Redmond, looking at Microsoft’s cloud solutions and what they mean to delegates. Events on Tuesday, May 1, will kick off with keynote Kevin Allison, Microsoft’s general manager for Exchange, presenting the changing world of Exchange and Office 365.
  • TEC for SharePoint 2012 will begin with Bill Baer, senior technical product manager, whose keynote address will delve into the next generation of high availability and disaster recovery for SharePoint. On Tuesday, May 1, Michael Lotter, founder of SharePointSaturday.org, will address how the active SharePoint community shapes the future of the technology.
  • TEC for Virtualization & User Workspace Management will start Monday, April 30, with industry expert Brian Madden exploring the future of virtualization and user workspace management across IT infrastructures.
  • In its second year, the PowerShell Deep Dive will be led by Jeffrey Snover, distinguished engineer and lead architect for the Microsoft Windows Server Division, and inventor of Windows PowerShell.
  • TEC 2012 will offer five pre-conference workshops on Sunday, April 29. Delegates will have the opportunity to add the hands-on workshops to their conference package at a small additional cost. The quintet of offerings are:
