ONXX Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (MM)

Amgen Inc. (AMGN) is increasing its offer to buy Onyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ONXX) to $130 a share from $120 a share, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The higher offer followed Amgen's review of Onyx's nonpublic financial information, the person told Bloomberg.

Onyx shares recently traded at $132 after hours, after ending the regular session at $132.02, down $1.37.
