At the IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference held
today, Motive, Inc. (NASDAQ:MOTVE) will share unique perspectives
on the role of home gateways in the delivery of triple play
services, and the importance of standards in delivering those
services cost-effectively. As part of a panel focused on the Home
Gateway Initiative, Motive's Heather Kirksey will discuss the
organization's technical guidelines for remote device and service
management, and as well as the relevance of emerging digital home
standards from various other industry groups such as DSL Forum,
UPnP Forum, and Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA). Ms. Kirksey
will also outline steps that service providers can take in order to
ensure interoperability and manageability for the next-generation
