NetDesign is a leading supplier of integrated IT, video and telephony communications systems, consultancy, training, and outsourcing for Danish enterprises and institutions. "NetDesign secured a long-term outsourcing contract to supply converged communications services to a large Danish municipality," said Bent Lytsen Technical Director for NetDesign. NetDesign implemented an end-to-end service assurance and consolidated operations management platform based on Micromuse's Netcool technology to provide a centralized, realtime, Web-enabled service level view. The Netcool-based solution helps NetDesign to assess and monitor the performance, availability, and status of mostly Cisco equipment in its infrastructure and to quickly identify and prioritize service-affecting infrastructure faults before they impact customer service or breach service level agreements.
