Item 5.02.
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On and effective as of December 23, 2021, David Friedberg voluntarily resigned from the board of directors (the “Board”) of Metromile, Inc. (the “Company”). Mr. Friedberg resigned from the Board to focus his time on numerous other professional endeavors, and his resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Board or the Company’s operations, policies, or practices. As a stockholder of the Company, Mr. Friedberg continues to be in strong support of the Company’s contemplated transaction with Lemonade, Inc.
