BILOXI, Miss., March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISLE) announced today construction plans for the Isle of Capri Biloxi Casino Resort. The renovation project of the existing atrium includes an additional 450 slot machines, reopening the company-branded Tradewinds Marketplace with a variety of food offerings, and a new multi-story entry feature and bar at the heart of the atrium offering vibrant high action imagery and audio on multiple video displays. Plans also include a covered walkway bridge connecting the parking deck with the atrium. The renovation project, adding additional food and beverage seating capacity of 160, is expected to be complete by Memorial Day. The company also plans to reopen the infinity pool and waterfall, spa sundeck, and pool bar by May 1, completing the array of property amenities for guests' enjoyment. Plans call for the remaining 100 hotel rooms to be fully operational by Memorial Day, bringing the Isle of Capri Biloxi Casino Resort back to capacity with 731 rooms including 200 whirlpool suites.
