CDW Elects Berger, Leahy, Shain, Stevens Sr. Vice President

CDW Corporation (NASDAQ: CDWC), a leading provider of technology

announced today that Dennis G. Berger, Christine A. Leahy and
Jonathan J. Stevens have been promoted to senior vice president. In
addition, Paul A. Shain has been elected senior vice president. All
four continue as members of CDW�s Executive Committee. �Dennis,
Chris, Paul and Jon are all exceptional executives who will
continue to play important roles in defining CDW�s path to

level of industry knowledge and business acumen as well as a strong

experience,� Edwardson said. Berger, 41, is now senior vice
president, coworker services and chief coworker services officer.
He joined CDW in September 2005 in his most recent position, vice
president, coworker services. Berger is responsible for leading
CDW's programs in coworker learning and development, benefits,
compensation, performance management, coworker relations and
recruitment. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice
president of human resources at PepsiAmericas and also served as a
group vice president of human resources in PepsiAmericas' St. Louis
office. Before joining PepsiAmericas in 1999, Berger held human
resources positions of increasing responsibility at Pepsi Bottling
Group, Inc., PepsiCo, Inc. and GTE Corporation. Berger holds a
Master of Business Administration degree from the John M. Olin
School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, and
Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northeastern
University in Boston. He serves on the Children's Memorial
Foundation Board and on the Board of Directors for the Human
Resources Management Association of Chicago. Leahy, 42, is now
senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary,
having most recently served as vice president, general counsel and
corporate secretary. She joined CDW in 2002 as the company's first
in-house counsel. Leahy is responsible for the company�s legal,
corporate governance and compliance functions. She is also a
founder and sponsor of the Women-to-Women Network at CDW, which
focuses on leadership development. Previously, she served as
corporate partner in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP where
she specialized in corporate governance, securities law, mergers
and acquisitions and strategic counseling. Leahy earned her
bachelor�s degree from Brown University and a J.D. from Boston
College Law School. She completed the CEO Perspective Program at
Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University as well as
the Women�s Director Development Program at Kellogg. Leahy is a
member of the American, Chicago and Washington D.C. Bar
Associations. Shain, 43, is now senior vice president of CDW. He
joined CDW in October 2006. Most recently, Shain served as chief
executive officer of Madison, Wisconsin-based Berbee Information
Networks Corporation, which CDW acquired in October, 2006. Shain
continues to be responsible for leading the Berbee business unit
and jointly overseeing all aspects of the transition of Berbee into
CDW. Shain joined Berbee in 2000 as president and was appointed
chief executive officer in 2005. Prior to joining the company,
Shain was managing director and director of research for Robert W.
Baird & Co., Inc. At Baird, he was the senior IT services
analyst and was responsible for the overall supervision and
administration of Baird's equity research efforts. Shain serves on
Executive Partner Councils for both IBM Corporation and Cisco
Systems. In addition to serving on several charitable boards, he is
also involved with the School of Business at the University of
Wisconsin � Madison, including serving on the Advisory Board of the
Applied Corporate Finance Program. Stevens, 37, is now senior vice
president and chief information officer. Stevens is responsible for
the strategic direction of CDW�s information technology and
e-commerce initiatives including content development, online
marketing and e-procurement. Stevens joined CDW in 2001 as the
company�s vice president of information technology and was named to
his most recent position, vice president and chief information
officer, in 2002. From 2005 to 2006, Stevens also served as general
manager of CDW�s Canada operation. Previously, Stevens served as
regional technology director for Avanade, an international
integration company formed as a joint venture between Microsoft and
Accenture. Before Avanade, Stevens was a principal with Microsoft
Consulting Services and led an IT group for a corporate division of
AT&T/NCR. Stevens is a graduate of the University of Dayton
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
Information Systems Management. He serves on the board of directors
of IT Resource Center, an organization that helps other non-profits
use technology in their operations. Also, Stevens is actively
involved with many charities and enjoys donating his time to
