BigBand’s IP Solution Named Finalist for Prestigious European Technology Innovation Award

BigBand Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:BBND) today announced its IP delivery solution, vIP PASS, has been named a finalist for the Society for Broadband Professionals (SCTE) 2011 Technological Innovation Awards. vIP PASS is one of the three short-listed applicants in the category of “Best Digital Processing Solution.”

BigBand’s vIP PASS supports the delivery of IP video services to a wide variety of IP-enabled consumer electronics devices.
