Basin Water Appoints Mark S. Rogers Sales Manager, West Region

Basin Water Inc. (NASDAQ:BWTR), announced today the appointment of
Mr. Mark S. Rogers to the position of Sales Manager, West Region.
Mr. Rogers will direct the Region�s sales team to grow Basin
Water�s drinking water treatment offering. The appointment
represents a key element of Basin Water�s efforts to expand its
markets geographically while ensuring continued customer
satisfaction through a highly skilled sales and service network. He
will be located in Basin Water�s Rancho Cucamonga office. Mr.
Rogers is an accomplished veteran of sales and business development
initiatives in the environmental technology and services
industries. He comes to Basin Water from his recent post as
Business Development Manager for Siemens Water Technologies, a
world leader in water and wastewater products, equipment and
service. Prior to that, Rogers served as Account Manager for Onyx
Environmental Services, LLC (now Veolia Environmental Services) for
over 15 years, during which time he consistently met or exceeded
sales revenue goals while assisting in the development of
comprehensive waste management programs for a broad range of
commercial, industrial and public clients. He has also served as
Director of Safety and Training for Union Carbide Corporation,
where he was responsible for the creation, staffing and
administration of that firm�s Environmental Health and Safety
Department and its training programs. According to Orlando Carre�o,
