Smylie comes to AdStar with more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, newspaper operations and the Internet. Most recently, Smylie served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of sales and marketing at Atex Media Command, a global software and solutions provider for the media that is headquartered in Bedford, Mass. Prior to his tenure with Atex, he was the practice manager and vice president of consulting services at Wheelhouse Corporation, where he managed a staff of 100 professionals and supervised corporate activities in Burlington, Mass., New York City and San Francisco.
