- Contract Represents Key 'First' for Patron in Pacific Northwest Market - BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Patron Systems, Inc. (OTC:PTRN) (BULLETIN BOARD: PTRN) , a leading provider of enterprise software for creating, managing and sharing electronic forms and messages, today announced that it has signed a software license agreement to provide FormStream, the Company's proprietary electronic field reporting application, to a county sheriff's department in Washington state. The sheriff's department has jurisdiction over a county of more than 183,000 residents in Northwest Washington state. Under the license terms, officers and supervisors have full access to Patron's FormStream system to file, submit and approve incident and crime reports wirelessly from laptop computers located in police vehicles. FormStream replaces the current paper- based system and automates the manual reporting and processing procedures, significantly reducing associated time and cost while improving officer productivity. "We have made significant inroads in marketing FormStream to law enforcement nationwide, resulting in increased interest and adoption by agencies that are now recognizing the many cost and time saving benefits of the system," said Robert Cross, Patron CEO. "This newest contract, our first in the Pacific Northwest, adds to our extensive customer base of law enforcement agencies in counties and cities in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast. We continue to build our sales pipeline and will leverage this new win and our entry into the western part of the country to further grow the business." FormStream allows police officers and their supervisors in the field to access, submit, and approve/reject hundreds of forms electronically through wireless connections from their police vehicles while on patrol. This reduces input errors and saves time and money and improves officer productivity. The system also improves the agencies' ability to share, agency-wide, readily accessible information in real-time and gain quicker access to compiled crime and incident reports in addition to related case information.
