BlackRock Advisors, LLC announced today that The BlackRock
California Investment Quality Municipal Trust, Inc. (NYSE Amex:RAA)
will redeem all of its issued and outstanding auction rate
municipal preferred stock. The redemptions announced today are
occurring in connection with RAA’s previously-approved liquidation
on or about September 30, 2010 and will be conducted at liquidation
preference of $25,000 per share, together with accrued and unpaid
dividends thereon to the redemption date, if applicable.
