The move comes after Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware and the
subsequent announcement that VMware would move from perpetual
licenses to a subscription model. This change means a fundamental
shift in how customers will access, and finance VMware solutions
support and maintenance. This transition also introduces
complexities related to cost predictability, customer autonomy, and
the strategic alignment of technology roadmaps.
After listening to the concerns of customers, Spinnaker’s new
offering enables VMware customers to:
