Broadview Networks, a leading provider of hosted voice, data and
cloud computing solutions, today announced that it has won a gold
Stevie® Award for its CustView application at the sixth annual
Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
Broadview’s CustView application provides a rolled-up,
“at-a-glance” view of each customer account, including product
subscriptions, survey results, financial trending and overall
experience. It ensures that anyone in contact with a customer, be
it the CEO or a front-line repair technician, sees the big picture
and has the information required to best relate to the customer. In
September, CustView earned Broadview a spot on the InformationWeek
500 list, which highlights the most innovative business technology
users in the United States.
The Stevies are an international competition recognizing
excellence in disciplines that are crucial to business success.
Nicknamed “Stevies” for the Greek word for “crowned,” the
trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet at
Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the first time, the Stevie
Awards were conferred in three levels of distinction: gold, silver
and bronze.
More than 1,000 entries from organizations worldwide were
submitted to this year’s competition—an increase of almost 30
percent over 2011’s contest. Finalists were determined by the
average scores given by 93 professionals worldwide who acted as
preliminary judges. Entries were considered in 27 categories for
customer service professionals, including Contact Center of the
Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer
Service Department of the Year; and categories to recognize new
products and services and solution providers.
“CustView is about making sure that no matter how broad or
narrow a given task for the customer may be, we know the value of
their business, we can relate to their experience, and we are in
the perfect position to nurture the account,” said Stephen Farkouh,
senior vice president of information services for Broadview
Networks. “This is our third year in a row winning the Stevie Award
in a customer service category—and while this third-party accolade
is always an honor to receive, this one, given the nature and
intention of the CustView application, is extra special.”
