The project is fully funded by a combination of funds from the Federal Government's Erate program and funds from the school district itself. Work on the project is expected to commence in first quarter of 2010. Inova's Desert Communications also announced it has begun work on a $562,000 network solutions project for Socorro, Texas, Independent School District.
