Douglas Jeter, P.E., to the position of Marketing Manager. Dan Rooney, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are very pleased to have Doug Jeter join SCI's management team. Mr. Jeter has more than 15 years of professional experience, which includes successful implementation of programs that contributed to increased sales of industrial products and technological services. He is on the adjunct faculty in the School of Management at Capital University (Columbus, Ohio). Prior to joining SCI, Mr. Jeter was a Team Manager/Technology Leader for micro-joining at the Edison Welding Institute where he directed a team of 10 professionals. From 2001-2005, Mr. Jeter worked at the Battelle Memorial Institute, where he served as a Project/Program Manager and marketed Electronics and Avionics Systems services to new clients, resulting in over $5 million in new contracts. In another role at Battelle, he was a Commercialization Program Manager with responsibilities for assessment of early-stage technologies for commercial potential, consultation regarding commercialization strategies for promising technologies, and contributions to Battelle's commercialization processes. Mr. Jeter held positions with increased responsibilities at Owens Corning and affiliate companies from 1995-2000 that included substantial international activities. He served as a Composites Planning Manager, which involved establishing a team for a startup division in Asia where his efforts contributed to significant sales growth and improved operational performance. Mr. Jeter was also a Process Engineering Leader for the design, prototyping and testing of innovative packaging systems. Mr. Jeter earned an MBA in International Business from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Rutgers University.
