COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Superconductive
Components, Inc. (OTC:SCCI) (BULLETIN BOARD: SCCI) today announced
the Board of Directors has elected Gerald S. Blaskie to Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer, and Mike Barna to Vice
President, Sales-Photonics, effective immediately. Mr. Blaskie
joined the Company in April 2001 and has served as Chief Financial
Officer since that time. Prior to that, he was Controller at Cable
Link, Inc. from February 2000 to March 2001. From 1997 to 2000, he
was the Plant Manager at Central Ohio Plastics Corporation, where
he also served as Controller from 1993 to 1997. In January 2004,
Mike Barna joined SCI Engineered Materials as Director of Sales and
Marketing to lead those efforts within the photonics market. Mike
has more than 20 years of experience in thin film sales, including
major account sales of Physical Vapor Deposition equipment high
purity targets and evaporation materials for these systems, hybrid
microelectronic, telecommunications, and the commercial glass
coating markets. Dan Rooney, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
