On 5 November 2004 the Company granted options over ordinary shares of 5p each
("Ordinary Shares") to John Ackroyd the Company's Finance Director.


Mr Ackroyd has been granted options over 7,000 Ordinary Shares under the terms
of the Company's EMI scheme and options over 11,000 Ordinary Shares under the
terms of the Company's Unapproved Share Option Scheme. All of the options were
granted at an exercise price of 123.5p per Ordinary Share, being the closing
price on 4 November 2004, and are exercisable between the third and the tenth
anniversary of the grant.


Following these grants, Mr Ackroyd holds options over 198,000 Ordinary Shares.


No consideration has been paid for the grant of these options.
