FIRESTONE DIAMONDS PLC

Firestone Diamonds plc ("the Company")announces that following the exercise of
warrants to subscribe for Ordinary Shares in the Company, application has been
made for the admission of 123,964 Ordinary Shares of 20p each in the Company
to trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. 
It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to trading on May 21st,
1999.
