                        regarding City Site Estates plc
                                       
On 1 December 1998 Woodvale Estates Limited wrote to the advisers of Miller
Group advising that the shareholdings in City Site Estates plc owned by
Woodvale Estates Limited, Louis M Goodman and other Goodman interests are not
for sale.  Yesterday evening, 3 December 1998, Louis M Goodman and Woodvale
Estates Limited confirmed once again to the advisers of Miller Group that the
shareholding in City Site Estates plc owned by Louis M Goodman and Woodvale
Estates Limited are not for sale.

Accordingly, the directors of Woodvale Estates Limited expect that the Miller
Group will withdraw its expression of interest in making a recommended cash
offer for the ordinary shares of City Site Estates plc immediately.
