Further to yesterday's results announcement, Cammell Laird amends the reported
ex-dividend and associated record dates.  The shares will be marked ex-
dividend on 24th July 2000 and the associated record date is 28th July 2000.
Dividends will be paid to shareholders on 4th September 2000 as reported in
the results statement.
