    Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company") - Transactions in Own Shares

    The Company's announcement released at 07:00 on 8 August 2008 incorrectly stated the date of the cancellation of shares held in treasury
and the Company's purchase of shares as 7 July 2008. The correct date for these events was 7 August 2008.

    The full corrected text of the announcement follows: 

    Local Shopping REIT PLC announces that on 7 August 2008 it cancelled 498,300 ordinary shares held in treasury.  

    The Company further announces that on 7 August 2008 it purchased from JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 453,000 ordinary shares at a price of 60
pence per share. All of the purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

    Following the above cancellations and purchase, Local Shopping REIT PLC holds 9,239,017 ordinary shares in treasury and has 83,151,153
ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
