MediaTechnics Corporation (PINKSHEETS: MEDT) is pleased to announce that it issued a Request for Proposal to its Chinese Venture Partner in order to obtain final pricing for a new line of photovoltaic solar power generating systems to be built in China for the Company's joint venture, Apex Solar Corporation.

The Company has received requests for pricing on up to 2 MW of solar panels and ancillary equipment and believes that it should be able to supply the panels and equipment necessary to power the large-scale commercial power plants under consideration at highly competitive prices. The Company plans to update shareholders as events occur.

In further news, on September 6, 2011, the Company shares hit a new fifty-two week high share price. The Company's president, Henri Atamian, stated, "This is very exciting time for MediaTechnics and it is my belief that the we have only just begun to explore the many and varied opportunities that may lie before us, opportunities that we anticipate will drive the company in new and exciting directions.
