HONG KONG, CHINA--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2014) - Essential Innovations Technology Corp. (OTCBB: ESIV) is truly pleased to provide this corporate update pertaining to the efforts of the organization to endeavor to successfully expand its business operations in 2014.

Jason McDiarmid, President/CEO, stated, "The Company is taking considerable strides towards achieving its corporate objectives and initiatives for 2014. As previously announced in 2013, we secured exclusive distribution rights from a globally recognized HVAC equipment manufacturer specializing in geothermal and water source heat pump production, to its entire product line for certain countries in the Asian and Mid-East markets. The end of fiscal 2013 saw the Company secure equity financing that now allows 2014 to begin with the facilitation by the Company of necessary preparatory efforts that can effectively support the undertaking of aggressive sales and project consulting initiatives throughout Asia and the Middle East during the year ahead, for our exclusively represented equipment line and our other proprietary green technology and water treatment solutions.

Recent Independent studies have stated that global demand for HVAC equipment is projected to rise to $107 billion by 2016, with the greatest incidence of energy efficient HVAC equipment expansion to be seen in Asia-Pacific, which will account for 55 percent of the world market by 2020, and with heat pumps remaining the fastest growing type of technology in the sector. As a Company, we are focused on this vast opportunity that exists for the sale and deployment of heat pump technology in these particular target market areas.

During 2014 we plan to exhibit and conduct training seminars at some of the largest renewable energy and environmental technology conferences in the Asia-Pacific and Mid-East regions in an effort to promote our heat pump equipment and Water treatment solutions and to enhance and expedite our efforts at market penetration. In such regards, we have been formally invited and scheduled to conduct a comprehensive seminar on geothermal heat pump technology at the largest annual green development and HVAC conference in India during Q1 Calendar 2014.
