Earthworks Entertainment, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EWKS) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase eighty percent (80%) of CageMonster.com, a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) social network web site to be launched in September 2009.

CEO Steven Humphries said in making the announcement, "The MMA market is exploding and this web site will be the talk of the industry. CageMonster.com will list and rank the top fighters around the work including their latest stats along with photos and video. Additionally, the site will feature its own radio and TV station which will feature pre-fight commentary and interviews."

Earthworks COO J. Buckeye Epstein said, "What makes our site extraordinary is that we take a no-holds-barred approach to reporting on what we see as a huge emerging business. Our editorial staff will present an entirely unique perspective the to industry."

CageMonster.com will be available on a subscription basis. The Company estimates that within 12 months their subscriber base will exceed 200,000 which will generate more than $1.9m in annual revenue, which does not include advertising revenue.
